Fire curtains, in particular, represent a passive system that allows the creation of small and large compartments in order to comply with EU directives regarding fire loads in buildings.
CurtainsAndfire curtainsThey can be applied in any context and their installation simply requires fixing to walls, floors and fire-resistant surfaces, with the exception of escape routes, for which, being an automatic device, they are prohibited by law.
The fire barriers are also equipped with a Fail Safe Gravity system, designed to ensure correct operation in the presence of an alarm or in the event of an electrical fault, due to damage to the control unit or loss of mains power for more than 6 hours.
OPERATION OF FIRE CURTAINS AND AWNINGS

When an emergency occurs, they descend at a controlled speed into lateral guides, preventing flapping and the release of flames and smoke.
The system is also equipped with a control unit, which acts as an intermediary between the curtain and the building's fire detection system. If the company does not have a fire detection system, Eurosafe Italia supplies the fire curtain complete with ORS smoke detectors.
CONTROL UNIT
Control unitdesigned to send an activation signal to the motor in the event of a fire, a signal by which the awning proceeds to lower.
The flexibility of the system allows for on-site programming of the control and coordination parameters of the tubular operators of the smoke and heat barriers.
